These notices cover the kikaio.de information website: visits, display preferences and email enquiries.

Hosting through Cloudflare Pages

The website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection data, including IP addresses and HTTP request data, to deliver and protect the content. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., United States.

Providing and protecting the website serves our legitimate interest in offering reliable access to information (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We use no additional analytics or advertising scripts. Cloudflare describes connection and log data processing and international transfers in its privacy policy and data processing agreement. Retention depends on the processing purpose and applicable terms.

Further information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.

Display preference and local storage

When you choose Dark or Light Mode, the website stores your preference as kikaio-theme in your browser’s local storage. This value is used only to remember your selection on future visits. It is not sent to us or an analytics service. You can remove it by clearing the website’s data in your browser; without a saved preference, the site starts in Dark Mode.

Storage access serves the display function you selected (Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). The website does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are loaded from the website hosting. Background effects run locally in your browser and do not send inputs to AI services.

Email enquiries

The hello@kikaio.de mailbox is hosted by Hostinger. Hostinger processes message and connection data needed to send, receive and store email. Further information: Hostinger Privacy Policy and Hostinger Data Processing Addendum covering email services.

If you email us, we process your email address, message and any details you voluntarily provide to handle your enquiry. Enquiries about prospective or existing cooperation are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries under our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, protect legal claims. Where statutory retention duties apply, deletion takes place after those duties expire. Opening an email link does not send a message; your email application and your decision to send initiate communication.

Links to GitHub, project websites and extension stores lead to external services. Their processing and privacy notices apply when you open them. This website does not load embedded videos, maps or social media feeds.

After you click the copy button, the displayed installation command is written to your clipboard. The feature does not read your clipboard, execute a command or send clipboard contents to us.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and, where applicable, data portability. Where processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. For North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. To exercise your rights, contact hello@kikaio.de.

Planned learning products

Some learning products and courses presented here are in development. This website does not offer accounts, payments, course registration or embedded AI chats. Notices for future products and courses will reflect their actual features and data processing.
